Speyside is the home of Whisky! In 2014 it was reported that there are 98 active distilleries in Scotland so it’s no surprise to learn that the country is home to over 20 million casks of delicious, slowly maturing Whisky, just waiting to for the right year to be cracked open and be enjoyed the world over.So what does our Malt Whisky Trail Tour consist of? Well with half the country’s distilleries on our doorstep in the Highlands, it’s really your choice! We’ll make your distillery tour whatever you want it to be.
Almost all of the distilleries close at some point in time, and almost all close over the Christmas and New Year period. So if you have come to Speyside and are hoping to drink whisky but find that all the distilleries are closed, then this is the tour for you. We will pick you and your group up from your hotel, holiday home, railway station, airport and transport you to the heart of Speyside. From there we will visit some of the most well known whisky bars on Speyside and enjoy the ambience that each has to offer, and to drink whisky of course! This is just an indicative itinerary, it is fully flexible and only you and your group will participate.
